Namaste

Namaste! Welcome to Om She Said.

Om. Go ahead….say it…say it long…let it reverberate on your lips.

Peace.

Instant peace in two small letters.

It is a bit of what I hope to share with you here…stories, pictures, feeling, thoughts, actions….all guided towards finding the OM.

I suppose you could say it is something I am always striving for. Me, a mama of two girls, wife to a very practical, yet thoughtful husband, A dog, a cat, a mortgage. Living a life that is new day to day, yet nothing like we thought we would be living ten years ago. Working alot, playing alot, writing, taking photos, documenting, sharing……..

Sharing gives me peace. I was inspired to start this blog by an amazing friend of mine, who brings light, laughter, compassion, generosity and spirit into everything and everyone she encounters.

A little bit more about me…..

As of late I have been going through a bit of a realignment with my blog and have decided to make this my new home! It’s a way for me to take a step back, work through changes, and move forward. We could all use a bit of realignment now and again!

I consider myself a “Rani” of all trades! Following the advice of my mama who said, “Rani, always try new things…it will make your life that much more special and exciting!” I love to create on the computer and with my hands. I am a certified massage practitioner and love giving instant peace and relaxation through my hands. I also do many other things which I will share with you here. My husband, Trevis is a Dell, while I am and Apple, but we really do balance each other out! Our two girls keep us busy and we are constantly amazed with how quickly time is flying!

We live on the gorgeous central California Coast, in which we still have so much exploring to do as a family!

My online name is scrapyoga, which is also my previous blog. Please feel free to stop by there to see where I was. I really do go back and read my posts as it helps me to see how are I have come and where I want to go. And I have transferred some of my favorite posts here!

A few more ways to connect with me are twitter and my other sites, ranishah.com, learnlivecreategive, charming birdie, massage therapy by rani, and flickr. You can also email me at rani@ranishah.com

I hope my writing and thoughts will be real, honest and full of mindful intention. Writing is one of the things I love to do, and thankful that the computer makes it all legible!

A few more things about me:

➻ I am 42
➻ I am a tea drinker (gave up coffee in May, 2010)
➻ Love to create with my girls
➻ Love my spin classes
➻ Am on a mission to organize and recycle and get rid of alot
➻ Learning to practice patience
➻ Grateful for the friends and family in my life
➻ Learning to share & grow with my husband

Thanks for sharing my little space on the world wide web. I look forward to sharing more you!
Namaste!

Thanks for letting me share with you!

Do come back and share with me!

Disclaimer: I am not a doctor, nutritionist, herbalist or a great speller! But I do like to try things and love sharing my thoughts, observations, likes and musings. When you try something, anything, do some research and then go for it…that is how I roll
